Brian & Sandy, Marbella

Brian and Sandy from Dublin married recently at the church in La Cala, with a lovely reception at the Tamisa Golf Hotel in Mijas. It was a wonderful day and the happy couple were indeed very happy and relaxed the whole day. We got some great shots around La Cala, with a trip to the beach (although the sand was quite hot...sorry Sandy!), and a little walk around the locale produced some interesting shots.

Karen & Ben, Antequera

Karen & Ben married recently at the hotel La Fuente del Sol near Antequera. The wedding was wonderfully organised by Michael and Laura from www.andaluciaweddings.com and www.anamazinghotel.com. The guests had travelled from Northern Ireland, London and Australia. It was a beautiful day and the lovely courtyard provided a wonderful setting for the meal in the evening.

Steve & Jessy, Marbella

Steve and Jessy, from Antwerp, married at La Virginia in Marbella. It was a small affair, just the two of them, so I had to double up as both photographer and witness! Not for the first time by the way! We did a few shots around the beautiful urbanisation that is La Virginia and then headed to the beach near Marbella for a few more shots.

Salli & Martin, Trash The Dress, Málaga

The streets of Málaga were the setting for a Trash The Dress shoot for Salli & Martin recently. Salli runs the website www.theweddinglist.es where you can order all sorts of vital stuff for your wedding! The dress suited the streets perfectly and she struck just the right poses for the feel of the shoot! Renagh & Andrew, Marbella

Renagh and Andrew from Dublin married recently at La Cala Resort Hotel in Marbella.  The wedding was well attended with over 100 guests making the journey out.  The bride and groom certainly seemed to enjoy themselves and were laughing all day long!  The speeches were poignant and emotional but I am sure the dancing continued to the small hours!

Tanya & Matt, Marbella

Tanya and Matt from Cheshire married recently at El Oceano in Marbella.  Tanya looked fantastic in her dress and the silver shoes of the groom and best man were definately one of the features!  The speeches were also a feature, as they were all very funny and clever and well delivered.   Especially the speech of the best man, Dom, who performed a striptease by taking off his suit to reveal a disco shirt and denim shorts once worn by the groom in his younger days!  Not sure if he had been wearing that all day, but if so I am surprised he did not faint with the heat!

Fiona & Robin, Setúbal, Portugal

Fiona & Robin, from Ottowa in Canada, held their wedding in Setúbal, close to Lisbon.  The reception was at La Pousada de Sao Filipe, overlooking the bay.  After the wedding, a tour to a couple of local vineyards was taken and some fantastic wines were heartily consumed!  I was working of course so could only taste!
